4. Conclusions
Defined mixed microorganism cultures can be used to increase
mixed acid productivity. The mixed culture composition tested
here identified microorganisms that effectively enhanced mixed
acid production and ensured product stability. Notably, this is the
first reported use of G. amansii without pretreatment. It can be
concluded that red algae is a useful resource for producing a high
concentration of mixed acids through optimization of the microorganism
community.
