Sesuai aspirasi untuk menjadi perusahaan energi kelas dunia, Pertamina juga aktif melakukan kegiatan pengembangan usaha di luar negeri. Pada tahun 2011, perkembangan aktivitas eksplorasi migas di berbagai area kerja di luar negeri adalah sebagai berikut:

Block 10 and 11.1 (Offshore Vietnam)

Evaluation result of the total reserves in Gau Chua, Gau Ngua, and Ca Cho structure around 188,48 MMSTB (OIIO) and 249,64 BSCF (GIIP). Now the development of Block 10 and 11.1 is preparing Outline Development Plan (ODP)

Block SK-305 (Malaysia)
Accomplishes detailed interpretation and seismic attribute analysis that covers Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) study, seismic inversion for C area, Dafnah, Half Graben, and Penian High. Besides, it conducts ADP (Area Development Plan) study for composing Concept Development Area Block SK-305.

Funds Drilling. D1 was drilled on 21 July 2011 and was finished on 18 October 2011 with the final depth 2.550m MDDF/2.345,92m TVDDF. Besides, workover in wells location D30.D3 accomplished successfully increases 1.034 BOPD oil production and 2,64 MMSCFD gas.
Other Blocks

Activities in Block 13 (Red Sea, Sudan) are focused on models and seismic velocity analysis. In Block 3 (Qatar), study, basin modeling, and G&G analysis are accomplished. Whereas in Block 17-3 Sabratah (Libya) and surrounding area, the study G&G is being prepared. Some other blocks overseas have not been operated optimally yet because of incondusive political condition.

Besides domestic services, Pertamina serves aviation fuel charging in ten international airports: Singapore, Bangkok, Hongkong, Kuala Lumpur, Incheon, Jeddah, Medinah, Penang, Dubai, and Amsterdam, and also ad hoc flight in Kairo, Tunisia, Majuro, Frankfurt, and Guam.
